Classic Car and Bike Show

The Classic Car and Bike Show is hosted annually by the International Police Association and after 14 successful years, the event has become a 'must do' on the Cape Town events calendar.  The Show was conceived in 1999 when the Western Cape Region of the Association was looking for a method of fundraising for their various charitable programs.

 

Costs, Times and other General Enquiries 

  • CHANGES TO ENTRY FEE - The entry fee for the 2014 show will still be R20 per person, but from 2015 ONLY children under 5 will enter for free.

  • PUBLIC PARKING is available only at Timour Hall Primary School on Gabriel Rd.  Visitors are encouraged to park their vehicles there and walk down Timour Hall Rd to the venue. 

  • There will be no public parking at the venue this year.  Only DISABLED parking will be allowed on-site.

  • The show is open to the public officially from 10am - 4pm each day.

  • None of the vehicles from the Saturday display will be here for the Sunday display.

  • The venue is at the bottom of Timour Hall Rd, off of Gabriel Rd in Plumstead.  See www.timourhall.com

 

George Old Car Show

14th and 15th Feb 2015

 

The 19th George Old Car Show will take place on 14th and 15th February 2015 at the PW Botha College in York Street, George. The main purpose of the show is to allow like minded old car enthusiasts to share their passion with each other as well as with the public.

 

One of the largest displays of model cars in the country will also be featured. The special exhibition for the 2015 show will be “The colour Red” seeing that the show is being held on Valentine’s Day this year and the overall theme for the show will be “Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow”.

 

For the fifth year running the George Old Car Show will be hosting a Classic Car Auction which is managed by the House of Classic and Sports Cars. The auction will take place on Saturday 14th February at 13:00 in the arena.  

 

Compulsory early registration for exhibitors will open on the 1st November 2014. Registration will close on 23rd January 2015.

 

Criteria for acceptance to exhibit a vehicle at the George Old Car Show:

•Vehicle model must be 1975 or earlier.

•Vehicles newer than 1975 must be part of a recognised club bringing 10 or more vehicles to the show.

•Vehicles deemed rare or “special” by the Organising Committee. Please note that the Organising Committee reserves the right to accept or reject at its discretion any application for registration to the George Old Car Show
